  • The magnetic GPS tracking device is not showing up on the platform, I have it turned on and have an account but the location isn't updating, what should I do?"
If you are in a rural area then chances are that you don't have a good network connection. The device runs on the 3G networks of ATT and T-Mobile networks. If you don't have strong 3G signals from these providers then you may need to attach the magnetic fleet tracking device to the vehicle and drive around a bit until the device can pick up a good network connection. If the device still doesn't update after driving around please reach out to us.
  • I have a Vehicle Tracking Device and have already activated my account, but the app is showing my location instead of the tracking devices location, what is wrong?"
The tracking app will by default show the location of the mobile device you are using. This was implemented in the user interface to help gain perspective in relation to the GPS tracking devices. To get the tracking devices location simply follow these steps. 1. On the top left of the app, click the 3 lines as shown in the picture below 2. Next click on the Main Group button, see image below: 3. Finally click on any of the GPS tracking devices in your main group (see image below), after this is accomplished the user interface will center around the last known location of the flee tracking device you are looking at.
  • I have a Hidden Magnetic GPS Tracker, when should I recharge my battery?"
The software has a battery indicator that shows the power level of the device discretely. This means that the battery level will show in intervals of 16-18%. Once you see the device hit 16%, recharge the battery soon after. The device will not show a % lower than 16%.
  • For the Magnetic GPS Trackers, why is my device going offline?"
Your device goes offline if: The device has not detected movement for 5-10 minutes, the device is now in sleep mode. As soon as movement is detected it will come back online. The device is powered off The device is out of charge
  • My magnetic GPS tracking device has plenty of power but stopped reporting to the software, what should I do?"
If this happens to you, please reboot the device by switching the device off for 10-20 seconds then turn the device back on. This should resolve the issue. If you continue to have this issue please reach out to us.

Our OBD2 GPS Car Tracking Device (JET) will work in most cars built after 1996. The OBD 2 GPS Tracking device will not work with tractor trailer trucks or heavy duty vehicles Class 6 or higher. To verify you have the right connection in your vehicle look under the steering column (within 3 ft) of your vehicle, right under the dash plastics. For heavy duty trucks, trailers, or other vehicles looking for a fleet tracking solution, try the OHM solution, our hard wired GPS tracking device for fleets. Also try this link to find where the OBD2 interface is in your vehicle.
